The reason for this project is the new school which will be ready in 2016, and the desire to craft a pedagogically and physically new type of school. The personnel have two years to educate and prepare for the challenges of the new school, curriculum, and content. The employer supports both the project and participation in it. Planning has been ongoing for a long time. The personnel have selected four main targets for development: 1. inclusion 2. multiculturalism and internationality 3. learning environments and digital school 4. active approach to learning and teaching. The motivated and willing personnel were divided into teams. Multiple people were sent into each areas of training to bolster learning within the team. All of the twenty-four training programs we have applied into correlate precisely with our needs. In addition, three job shadowings that support our goals will be made. During the next two years the whole teaching staff will regularly participate in events, in which the newly trained personnel will share the new information. The principal will lead and coordinate the progress. He is also responsible for constant evaluation. Tangible results will be brought into teaching and planning immediately e.g. the launch of a digital pilot project and building teaching environments. When the project ends in 2016, there will be a discussion on the final pedagogical guidelines selected. The end result of this project in the fall of 2016, will be the move to the new school.
