The project was designed in response to the need of continous development of students skills – vocational and personal, as well as strengthening the school recognition, its competitiveness and attractiveness. The realization of the project will lead to satisfying the requirements of local entrepreneurs searching for employees who not only have knowledge but also professional experience. The aims of the project: gaining by its participants new competences and professional and language experience, thanks to the participation in the internship program, which should enable them to find a reasonable job after completing the education process and raising the level of education and school recognition. These results are coherent with the aims and assumptions of the Erasmus+ program, that is: - raising the level of key competences and skills adjusted to the labor market needs - improving language skills and promoting the European linguistic and cultural diversity - broadening the international dimension to training and education. The participants of the project will be the students of technical and vocational school in the following specializations: IT technician, tourist service technician, advertisement organization technician and auto mechanic, 80 interns in total. The internships will be organized in various enterprises in Italy. The project is designed for two years. In 2014/2015 two groups of 20 students with 2 tutors will go to Italy. Identical groups will take part in the internship program in the following year 2015/2016. All potential participants learn English at school as their first foreign language. After the end of internship program and come back to school, the participants will fill in the reports in the online system and prepare the presentations which serves to disseminate the results of the project. The last stage of the project will be the final conference. It does not mean, however, that the project ends for the participants in this point. Its results will influence their lives for a long time at professional, as well as, indirectly, on the private level. While realizing the project we will apply the methodology developed while organizing the current project. It is based on the clear division of tasks and responsibilities between employees and on the rule of constant supervision over the course of the internships. The results of the project will be the acquisition and development of vocational qualifications, especially those, which are rare in Poland, improving professional language qualifications (Italian language), higher motivation for continuous learning, increasing the level of dutifulness and self-discipline, getting to know the working culture and customs of the receiving country, developing tolerant attitude and acceptance for different customs and code of conduct. The project will bring also material results. These are the following: - collection of photos and films, taken and made by the participant of the project showing their work in Italy and other stages of the project - alternatively blogs of the participants - presentations showing the project from different points of view (point of view of students specializing in different fields as well as the employees of the project) - materials compiled thanks to the evaluation process, which will serve to design similar projects in the future The acquisition of new competences will be validated with various certificates: certificate confirming the completion of Italian language course, certificate confirming the participation in the cultural and pedagogical preparation classes, certificate confirming the completion of the internship program and the Europass Mobility document. The internships will result in the higher degree of students self dependence, self-esteem, self confidence and personal development. Team work in the international environment will contribute to better understanding of the value of cultural diversity in Europe. The participants of the project will acquire new competences, making them valuable candidates for work. The institutions where the interns will undertake work are predicted to become competitive on the labor market, to some extend thanks to the specialists they employ. This way, indirectly, the interns will support and strengthen their employers’ market position. Thanks to the realization of the project, the school will gain experience in international cooperation and strengthen its recognition, which should result in more efficient recruitment process. The partners of the project will broaden their knowledge and develop skills, needed while acting at the international level. The school’s representatives and representatives of the partner institution will get to know people brought up in the different culture, which should stimulate their sensitivity for intercultural dialogue issues, customs diversity and diverse code of conduct in the European countries.
