Our project, was created by the school management in strong cooperation with the school staff and beforehand we evaluated our needs and requirements. Our main goal is to improve, improve our foreign language teachers methodologically, our primary school teachers' skill in speaking and using a foreign language as much as we can - let it be English and German, develop the management and organisational skills of our managing staff, prepare for the CLIL method, and last but not least involve our kindergarten teachers in European Union projects and improve their language competencies. Besides our main goals we would like to strengthen our international relationship, create a network with our European schools and individuals. Parallel to this we want to raise our students' awareness about European issues, educational differences, fight xenophobia. We are planning to do all this in cooperation with all the members of our school, our management, teachers and mainly our students (especially with the help of those with a foreign or minority background) and possibly our local community. We are planning to integrate this project to our curriculum so that it effects not only the lessons of Foreign languages, but other lessons such as History, Geography, Ethics, Citizenship, Arts, etc. Our plan is to take part in 14 training courses which are going to be language and/or methodology courses, CLIL courses and management courses. As our main foreign language taught is English so most of the courses will be in English and two courses in German. Our coordinator will cooperate with the members of the school, the foreign language department, the National Agency, the course providers and the partner organisations abroad. Before the courses our teachers will collect information about the country they are about to visit examining its educational system and cultural background. The coordinator will assist them in case anything is needed and all possible help will be given to them. We are trying to get prepared to unexpected situations too. It is important that the teachers feel that the school as an organisation supports them all the way. After taking part in the course the participants will write a report both to the National Agency and to the school too. It will be followed be an evaluation questionnaire and they are very welcome to create a presentation based on their experiences and materials they had. There will be an other more entertaining presentation to the students of the school too. Finally they are going to write an article about their course and the different steps of the project in the local paper too. All the steps and relevant details of our program will be published on the school's website too. During the two years of this project we are going to evaluate our improvement several times, however we are planning to create a major evaluation after the first year and at the end of the project. As a benefit of our project activity and using eTwinning system we are planning to create a network of schools, teachers and managers. In the framework of this network we would like to cooperate, exchange ideas, plans and best practices. As mentioned above we are already working on a bilateral partnership with our French partner school (College Mignet, Aix-en-Provence) and using our improved network we are planning to create a multilateral partnership at the end of the two year period.
