Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 1 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Context/background of the project IOC in combination with LeerKRACHT: Since this school year our school is working with the project LeerKRACHT. The project increases the quality of the school organisation in terms of learning from each other and each other's claims. Improving the digital skills of teachers is the most important issue. This course Getting ready for the digital classroom in Barcelona will be a good addition. Also because within the project e-learning and e-twinning is included, the international character of the course will get a good boost. We want to increase the use of digital tools in our school. Objectives of the project LeerKRACHT (Teachers Strenght): a cultural change where teachers find it normal to work together to improve the education and themselves. The foundation LeerKRACHT is founded by consulting firm McKinsey, which has done an international investigation into the education's quality. From this research a specific set of interventions that are most effective to improve education has been established. 1. Inspiration: brainstorming over existing teaching methods and creating new inspiring ideas 2. Learning from each other: reflecting over education and sharing of experiences and successful methods, materials 3. Clarity: deciding from a joint idea what would be a good lesson, effective teaching methods are and how to implement them in the school. At the Montessori College concentrates LeerKRACHT ("the teacher put in his strength") particularly on the use of multimedia resources in the classroom. Contemporary learning requires flexible and creative teachers who continually follow the developments in society and be able to apply this in the classroom. Good use of multimedia resources in the classroom promotes the interaction between teacher, students and learners, brings the world of school and the outside world together. The course in Barcelona fits in perfectly. Every teacher is involved in this project. There is a main group that share their knowledge with colleagues who have slight knowledge of digital learning resources. The 6 participants in this course are among the latter group. The main activities of the course in Barcelona for our school are: methodology of online classrooms, Motivation and Guide of students, failure rate, role of teachers and students, learning to use resources for e-learning and on-line study materials, Feedback and e-assessment tools. Reducing the project LeerKRACHT is guided by our Sector Director Ineke Angenent. The intention of the Montessori College is that in three years time all teachers in the sector have the skills of didactic use of multimedia resources. The 2014-2015 school year is the second year of LeerKRACHT and now there is a need to learn from each other as well internationally .
