The short-term volunteer programme of Format SFF Foundation offers 30 young people from 4 countries the opportunity to get an inside touch of the organization and working process of two established Balkan short film events - 9-th International Short Film Festival IN THE PALACE in Balchik, Bulgaria and its parallel new media in film training programme PLUG IN. The project is carried out by Format SFF Foundation, receiving organization and host to the programme, in partnership with sending organizations from France, Croatia, Georgia and Jordan. The duration of the project is 3 months and the volunteers arrive for one month in Balchik in order to take part in the preparation and implementation of the festival and the training programme. The aim of the project is to allow young people interested in cinema to participate in the organization of two important events in the area, while having access to all screenings, master classes, international debates and networking possibilities which the festival and the training offer to their industry guests and participants.
