KIKÖTŐ (KItekintő - KÖzelíTŐ)
Date du début: 31 déc. 2015, Date de fin: 30 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project titled KITEKINTŐ KÖZELÍTŐ is considered by project members a means of disseminating the values and cultural heritage of European Union among our students and colleagues. Through meeting European citizens of various nationalities we have the opportunity to get an insight into the educational systems and pedagogical methods of participant countries and establish professional connections as well. The projects could enhance our awareness of European cultural and linguistic diversity, our sense of belonging to the European community, our mutual understanding, tolerance and European identity. We aim to broaden the range of methodological methods and tools our institution can have access to. In this way we intend to reduce the drop-out rates and encourage students with disadvantaged backrounds and learning disabilities to obtain a vocation and pass their school-leaving and vocational exams in order to enter the job market with good job prospects. Becoming aquainted with new psychological approaches and their further presentation and delivery to our colleagues and integration into the teaching process are regarded as essential by our team. We wish to test new methods and experience them first-hand so that we could impart our knowledge to the local staff and successfully motivate students in the process of learning and make them enthusiastic and open towards knowledge acquisition. Students are often exposed to failures in the field of language learning and our project is expected to find a remedy for such failures. The motivation of students can be considered a immense challenge for teachers and it demands us to constantly endeavour to improve our professional skills. As teachers and also as professional staff assisting the work of teachers we intend to develop our foreign language skills in order to be able to deliver to our students knowledge, information and technical language skills within the subjects we teach at our school. We also aim at setting a good example for Lifelong Learning and Lifewide Learning to our students and colleagues. The presentation of the culture of clothes and the related traditions and innovations can create the image of Hungary and influence the way people of other nationalities see us, therefore it is crucial that our students could have appropriate language skills and an eagerness to become involved in conversation with students of different nationality. Also, with the teachers’ help students should definitely improve their presentation skills as well. Altogether 6 people apply for the current training project. Each of the participant teachers represents a special field of the school, namely general subjects, art subjects and vocational subjects including leather and clothing and two members of the team assist the pedagogical work taking place at our school. The project team includes Judit Benczik clothing manufacturing engineer and project coordinator, Kata Jakab event organiser, Márta Kanics textile designer, Ildikó Lengyel psychologist, consulting psychologist, Erika Pollák leather industry technical teacher and Petra Sándor teacher of English. The project consists of 3 stages, namely the preparatory stage, the stage of participation in the training courses and the follow-up stage together with the dissemination. The briefing about the project, setting up the project team and discussing the details of the application process took place in the preparatory stage with the help of the project coordinator. The participation stage includes language preparation, creating information materials, the winner team’s project discussions, establishing contact with the organisers of the courses and the KLIK contact person, signing the contracts of the educational scolarships, carrying out the travel arrangements and the mobility period. The follow-up stage includes the discussion of previous mobility experience, evaluation of the project, preparation of the project report and finally dissemination and delivery of all the methods having been aquired to those interested. We assume that the project will improve the participants’ language skills and they will manage to deal with foreign technical literature better. Furthermore, we expect to acquire new pedagogical and psychological approaches to be applied effectively in teaching. The short-term goals include the expansion of language skills and the increase in our professional awareness. In the long term the project could enable us to combat symptoms of burning out and due to presenting and disseminating the project results it could contribute to establishing good reputation of our school.
