Their participation in our project will increase their independence and sense of initiative and will help them gain a more open perspective of the world we live in. Non-formal education methods will help both children and the 4 volunteers, to discover learning for pleasure, developing new skills and pursuits and, for the long term, to give more importance to education and to integrate more easily into society. The local community of Marasesti town will have real benefits due to the impact of this project. The local community will become aware of the children and youngsters’ problems and of the need to create some inclusion programmes for them. Likewise, the young people from our community will realize the importance of their involvement in combating social exclusion and will be motivated to participate in future volunteer projects. The presence of the four young volunteers in our project will serve to bring the youngsters from Marasesti town closer to the activities of Asociatia Voluntariat Pentru Viata. The local community of each volunteer will benefit from the knowledge and experience acquired by the volunteer in our project and it possible that they decide to undertake new projects or initiatives when they return to their countries.
