Keep calm and cook!
Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The biggest aim of our project was to learn how to cook delicious and healthy dishes in short time and to teach cooking them as much people, as it is possible. We had this kind of aim because now youth eat very much food from fast-foods and other unhealthy food, but we never think about how bad this feeding is for our organisms. Also important part of our project was cultural aspect, because knowledge about other cultures and friends around the world are interesting and needful things in life of youth. In Youth Exchange participated 32 people. From each country there was 6 participants, leader and peer-leader. We needed peer-leader, because we wanted to have more people in different age, but it is hard to find many people under 18 with ability to go out of country in Ukraine. Also we needed it, because we planed to have participants with experience in cooking area and the most part of our leaders and peer-leaders have this experience. The main reasons of choice of participants was their interest and wish to move and develop themselves. The age of participants was from 14 till 16 (but we also had participants older than this age), because 14-16 aged guys are facing this problem very often, so this age is ideal to start to solute problem about unhealthy feeding. We had the same amount of boys and girls from each country, so we ensured gender balance. Participants of our project developed and improved all key competencies. We turned more attention on next key competences: cultural awareness and expression, learning to learn and sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. All partners had their own responsibilities. We started preparation in 1 august - from the begging of the project. The key moment in preparation was APV, which was in September. On the APV were 2 people from each country (at all 8 people). They discussed project's program, place for leaving and conditions for cooking. Also they made risk prevention activities there. Youth Exchange started in November. On exchange participants made cooking workshops, energizes, games, challenges and other non-formal learning methods. Activities after the exchange (in each country) will include - activities on dissemination of project results, youthpass making, final report making, using received skills in everyday life! Project will end in 1 of January 2016.
