PROJET
TERMINÉ
From the point of developing Europe’s workforce implied in Copenhagen European Council and Lisbon strategy, our Project aims to make education and teaching processes for disabled people more efficient, to rise disabled people’s educational, social and vocational development and to help them have benefits from their abilities and to enable social adaptations for disabled people. Thus, there will be an information community and international information transfer will be provided.
Disabled people’s number is 13% of the whole population in Turkey. One of the most important actions of the government is to increase life standards and qualities of these individuals. To achieve this, people with disabilities needs to be able to live individually without any help. The main aim to create this project is to minimize differences between normal and disabled people by supporting them educationally and vocationally, in addition to this, helping them to be an individual both financially and morally.
The main sense regarded to provide individual developments of children with special needs and to help them adapt to the society is inclusive education. This type of education enables disabled children to get education with their age-mates and have social and mental interaction each other.
There are studies about improving these daily knasledge Besides, although there is an imraved substructure, it is needed that;to do the education with mainstream in veriosway and to do the exampkes and watch them.
Especially after the main legal diffrences in 2012, the 4+4+4 model of education is owned and every; person entered in the education system. In this view, there will be increasing in the number of students who show valuable diffrences in different leves of education. The number of students who show diffrerences after the model of 4+4+4 increased and first time the teachers study with the students who have specalities. The teachers don’t know how to act to these students and how to teach them or they know in a limited level.
With all these reasons the processes of the mainstream education are like these;
For Students with Special Needs,
- They can get effective education suitable to their capacities and learning speed by implying required Individualized Education Program.
- Their social values can be developed as self-confidence, braveness, responsibilities etc.
- Students’ adaptation and success can be increased because of the suitable atmosphere.
- Instead of negative behaviours, positive attitudes will be reinforced.
- To be able to study with regular students may help them gain desire and courage.
- These children may be able to learn some behaviours from comman ones.
- In addition to educational programs, their learning can be developed thanks to family education, social, cultural and spare time activities.
For Non-Disabled Students,
- They can develop positive attitudes as tonerance, democracy, morality and perceptions of persons with disabilities and the enhancement of social status
- They can respect individual differences.
- Being in the interaction with disabled students, they will be aware of their deficiencies and try to accept and make them improve.
- They will be able to learn to libe with disabled people.
For Teachers,
- Teachers’ acceptance, tolerance and respect to individual qualities can be raised.
- They will be more successful in creating and applying an I.E.P
- With the help of studies with disabled students, teachers’ teaching abilities can be developed.
