The Secondary Glass Art School Valašské Meziříčí and Nacional High School of Stage and Film Design Plovdiv has prepared a project called „ Camera - Flap - Action - Plovdiv 2015“. Both schools have worked on two mutual projects in the frame of the program Leonardo da Vinci - mobility in 2012 and 2013. The goal of the project is to extend knowledge and skills in information and communication technologies focusing on multimedia and audio-visual production and implementation of new approaches in the contemporary art, together with the transfer of the gained skills from the participants to other students and teachers of the school. The project has been aimed for the students of second and third years of artistic branches (applied painting, glass design and glass craft design and industrial design). The age of the students is from 15 to 18. An important factor is an improving of students´ language and communication skills in English. During the preparation for trainning, students will participate in lectures about the history and the development of Czech and Bulgarian film, film terminology, culture and history of Bulgaria and Plovdiv.The lectures will be lead by experienced teachers. During the trainning itself the students will master theoretical and practical work with the camera (composition, film schedules, point of view, the use of light in filmmaking), film editing (film punctuation, rhythm and gradation scenes), working with a script and post-production work (music, subtitle, graphic design and presentation of the film). The final work of the trainning, which will be an integral part of the overall presentation of the project, will be a series of short films and photographies of Plovdiv which will be shot during trainning. After completion of the trainning the students will prepare presentations and public exhibitions, workshops for basic schools and thus will improve the ability to present their own works in better way. Upon project completion, participants will get knowledge and skills in audiovisual production, expand their cultural knowledge of the culture of another European country, also will learn to work in team, communicate with each other with students from partner school. The intended impact, we see in a better public presentation of our school and in use of the experience from the project in the cultural scene of the town of Valašské Meziříčí and Zlín Region. The obtained knowledge and skills will be included into the school educational program in the subject multimedia technologies and will improve learning for other students of school. Cooperation between both schools is linked to traditionally very good Czech - Bulgarian relations from the past up the present days.
