By the experience and the implementation of the EVS project, the mission and the goal of our project is realized as well. Since we want to continue with the implementation of the project and designing as much more substantial life of the users in our Home, we apply to this project as a continuation and complementation of the activities carried out so far. During the implementation of our project we will try to influence the development of inter-generational solidarity, the informal learning of our volunteers and familiarization with the environment and intercultural learning. By volunteering in our institution the volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the nature of the work in the House for elderly and disable people, but also a much wider range of work by participating in activities that we organize with other institutions and organizations in the city of Porec, with whom we usually good cooperation. The volunteers who have applied to volunteer at our institution, in the description of the project they recognized the area in which they want to work for 11 months and they will be available in the creative planning of leisure time to our users. Our future volunteers are familiar with the schedule of work and they are informed with the possibilities offered by the City of Porec and the region of Istria as a rich cultural environment, with a lot of different events throughout the year that promote the custom, traditions and human relations. To the volunteers we will offer the possibility of meaningful implementation of their free time and thereby that the region has a good geographical position, the possibilities are great to them as regards getting to know the surrounding regions and areas. Through the increased involvement of local volunteers, we see that we have been recognized in the society as an institution that cultivate the relationship between young and old people and there are more and more new people who comes and want to donate their time to the elderly citizens. We see that with the dissemination of our project and informing the public that we have taken throughout the project we have achieved one of the objectives - that ever more people hear about the Erasmus+ and about the opportunities that the EU provides to the young people. Still in our region does not exist enough knowledge about the opportunities for the young people and we saw, through the lectures to the high school students in Porec that the interest nevertheless exists and we hope to be able, in the future as Institution, to accredit ourself as a sending organization. One of the goals of our project is to promote inter-generational solidarity based on common activities of young and old people. The present results at the local level, as well as in the implementation of the EVS project, indicate that we are on the right path so we will endeavor to continue the good practice.
