During the planning of the annual activities of our school it became clear that there is the need to renew the administration, the management of human resources and the teaching methods through the training of the personnel. The aim of this renewal is the realization of innovative activities, the adoption of modern teaching practices, the integration of ICT into teaching and the creation of an attractive climate in the classroom. In order to fulfill these aims we decided the participation of our school in Erasmus+ because of the quality of the offered activities as well as the chance it gives to the participants to communicate their concerns and worries with their European colleagues and become acquainted with the new outcomes in didactics and best practices within a modern European environment. The participation of the director in an educational program in the United Kingdom will lead to the creation of a flexible, open and competitive school in correlation with the modern European achievements. The aims of his participation in the specific program is the improvement and reorganization of our school by ensuring an environment in which the particularities will be respected and the capabilities will be developed.The training of the teachers in Italy in didactics and ICT will also lead to the improvement of our school through the acquaintance with innovative teaching practices, the use of ICT, the personal improvement, the acquisition of interpersonal skills, the exchange of views and experiences with their European colleagues, the knowledge of the European reality and the contracting of collaborations.The participants will be five. The director who is highly qualified has undertaken many positions with high pedagogical responsibilities. He envisages a modern, innovative school in which the different capabilities will be exploited, the different views will be respected and the didactic product will be of high quality. The four other participants are teachers whose contribution to the educational procedure is important, they are willing to be educated in order to become more effective, they wish to be acquainted with the new learning theories, get in touch with the European experience and best practices and finally exchange ideas and cooperate with their European colleagues with whom they work for the preparation of the future European citizen.The mobility which concerns the manipulation of personnel and human resources aims at the acquisition of theoretical knowledge in relation with management, case studies and visits at schools.The mobility which concerns the development of expertness in ICT will improve the practical skills of the participant, will lead to the introduction of ICT into teaching in the most effective way, since there will be contact with European teachers and exchange of views, knowledge and best practices especially in the field of physics.The mobility which concerns the pedagogics and didactics will contribute to the personal development of the teachers and the acquisition of effective leading and teaching capabilities.The expected outcome is the improvement in administration, management and development of human resources as well as in the didactic practices and teaching effectiveness.The impact of the implementation of this project on the one hand will benefit our school which will be modernized and acquire an international network of collaboration, and on the other hand the teachers who, after having assimilated knowledge in didactics and innovation, will benefit their students who will approach knowledge through attractive and modern ways and innovative practices which develop tendencies and capabilities by posing the student in the center of interest as creator of knowledge.The benefits will affect the wider educational community in regional, national and European level through the publicity and the internationalization of our school. Finally, the long-term benefits for Vamos High School are the development of the final receivers, their encouragement for continual improvement and their transformation to dynamic creators of knowledge and innovation.
