Juventude 2020 - O investimento no Trabalho de Juventude para mais Associativismo Jovem
Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

FNAJ believes that once again this project was a real proposal for political reforms under Youth policies umbrella. It was a clear possibility to brought to Portugal the European discussion about Youth Work and present some conclusions from the European youth Work convention held by CoE in Brussels in March 2015. It was also a unique possibility to discuss the application of Youth Work models in Portugal and project the importance of youth workers as mediators of youth policies. Understand the challenges faced by the European Union through its Agenda for Growth, EU2020, and Erasmus+ Programme and the role of the Portuguese Youth on this Mission allowed the National Associative Movement to understand the true premises of the new Erasmus + JA programme and the importance of Youth Work. FNAJ believes that this perception will have a key role for the Portuguese Youth Associations and their work with the new programme as a development and social innovation engine or tool. Define Youth Worker strategically for the Portuguese Youth movement and its natural partners represented in this project by several municipality authorities as local power agents, was the main object of the 175 participants whose profiles mixed between Young Leaders, Policy Makers and off course Youth Workers. This richness and diversity in the range of participants allowed FNAJ to spend the innovative principle brought by Erasmus + YiA program in the constitution of Local Networks of Action described in the program by consortia and define a new role for Youth Workers in terms of facilitators and mediators. The three-day activity was designed according to a SMART methodology and proposed a SWOT analysis for the Portuguese Youth movement to understand opportunities and threats that lie ahead, but also understand the strengths and weaknesses that need to be developed or encountered. The project aimed methodologies through Non Formal Education and Structured Dialogue to analyse all these issues and propose innovative solutions to the challenges posed by the Erasmus+ in general and YOUTH WORK approach in particular. The results and discussions of this project were immediately disseminated since its results were presented in ENAJ , National Meeting of Youth Associations to 1100 Youngsters and respective Youth structures and listed the edition of a compendium named "Youth 2020" in order to define strategies of approach by the youth-led initiatives and challenges faced by Europe. Anticipate long-term benefits will be a true preparation of the Portuguese Youth to help Portugal to reach the goals placed by the European Union to the country, that we know as a difficult task and we believe that the Portuguese youth should be mobilized and encouraged to give their best. In short we expect the reflection of this lightweight design and inspire young people to take as true promoters of social innovation and some of them future Youth Workers. It’s a clear empowerment process that we hope will benefit future youth workers and organizations.
