Joint educational and distance learning methodology, curriculum and program to eliminate structural unemployment in tourism (EDU-TOURISM)

The main objective of the project is to work out and implement an adult education training program in the field of tourism:1. To provide the representatives and employees of tourism market with modern tourism and management experience (tourism destination management training), and also to promote employment in the tourism sector (training of regional tour-guides), so as to decrease the number of unemployed, in the frame of an adult training program. Lifelong learning and the retraining of tourism experts in the market & to find new experts through change in professions is also among the goals.2. To organize HR-development workshops for service providers-,and representatives of local organizations together with their respective institutions (SMEs, municipalities, NGOs) who are actively operating in the tourism market: regional specific study materials, examining tourism environment, preparing attraction inventories (Homokhátság, Pecica); e-learning program; tour-guide distance learning (15-15 persons); touristic destination management distance learning(15-15 persons); 2-day HR development workshops at Pecica and Mórahalom (20-20).Direct beneficiaries: 60 people in disadvantageous situation who live along the border (30 from each country); 40 organizations with interest, or involvment in employment (20 from each country)The main specific activities of the project are: procurement and implementation of the trainings; development of the curriculum and the e-learning excipient; workshops.Among project results: 6 modern, region-specific learning materials, 1 jointly developed e-learning program; 40 organizations at organization-, and HR development workshops.
