"JobUp" is a Training course that will take place in the town of Geraci Siculo, in the province of Palermo from the 6th until the 11th of April 2015. It will involve 30 participants, coming from 7 different countries: Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Portugal and Greece. The project aim of "JobUp" is to make youth workers aware about the challenges of youth unemployment at national and International level, in order them useful tools which could be used to react to unemployment while working with young generations. Moreover, through non formal methods, JobUp will involve and motivate them to be ready to face the actual economical situation in the work environment. Day by day, they will learn in peer cooperation to be more positive and creative in order to invest in themselves and in their cultural background by exploiting their creativity and entrepreneurship. Participants, involved at each stage of the project, will be more aware about the importance of the European citizenship, the Erasmus+ Program and the opportunity they had of being part of such wonderful experience, which could make the difference at the time when they will coach young people while looking for a job or decide to build their own business. The project will assess the effectiveness of employment creation strategies, examine the vocational education system and their contribution to enhance capacity of youth employment, review the policy framework and strategies for improving conditions for self employment and decent work. The knowledge generated will be used to make young participants learn from each other on the ways and means of handing youth unemployment problem. Result of the project will be a Guideline in English which will contain useful advises to be shared at global level.
