Our school is oriented in innovation and quality for years already. We are also oriented in cooperating with European schools, in exchanging pedagogies and methodologies and adapting new ones that make teaching and learning easier and more attractive.
We like to invite new European colleagues and be benefited from their knowledge and their appetite for work and offer.
Now, it is more than certain that we are going to try to be benefited from the job shadowing tool that we so long expected and considered as the most useful tool for a teacher today. That means that our colleagues will bring back a new know how and more good practices on certain fields that concern us as teachers.
What are these fields?
Cross curricular projects and how to improve them and thus the cooperation among our teachers. The Multiple Intelligence theory and exploiting it on a daily teaching basis. The Mind Mapping technique and where and how should we use it as teachers.
The assessment / evaluation philosophy of student attainment and how colleagues abroad assess their pupils.
Discipline matters and how we can use modern approaches of penalties and awards.
How to motivate in order to succeed intrinsic motivation of a pupil. How we could best integrate our immigrant students into everyday school life.
How should we use the Teaching Styles.
We will try to move during this 2 years period, 5 teachers certified in foreign languages, form the permanent teaching staff of our school that are familiar with the school philosophy, and these teachers are:
The headmaster, the PE teacher, a male and a female teacher and the English language teacher.
All these people have worked together in joint cross curricular projects, have been educated in Mind Mapping technique, plan a new Multiple Intelligence Erasmus+ project with other schools and are concerned on discipline, motivation and integration issues.
We do believe that in the end of this period, the whole teaching staff of our school will have been benefited from the experiences, the good practices and the new methodologies / approaches our 5 colleagues will bring back to our school.
