The JM chair EUFIRE proposes teaching activities, research and academic events. The educational offer of the host institutions is deepened and developed. The curricula for 2 on-going courses will be extended with the financial concepts and regulation in force and 3 new proposed courses (including one summer course) will present information that has not been previously offered in other courses (regulations for financial relations in EU, the financial stability, the legal framework for controlling the use of single currency, the settlement of EU budget, legal rules for the management of the European financial resource and expenditure control). The 5 courses will be available for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students and for graduated students from other universities in the same city/region. About 310 students/year will attend the courses and get the final diploma. The contents of the teaching activities are in connection with the research themes of the project. The chair holder is associate professor at the host institution, experienced in 1st and 2nd cycle teaching, both in national education system and abroad. She will carry out project activities (125 hours of teaching each year) together with 5 of her colleagues, experienced scholars of the host university, who will be involved in teaching and research. The intermediate results of the research will be presented in academic events and the final results will be published (e. g. teaching materials, 3 CDs with case-law studies, at least 5 papers in journals and/or reviews, 3 conference proceeding volumes and one final academic book).EUFIRE will organize promotion events, workshops, webinars, roundtables and opened lectures. IT tools and techniques will be used (web page, virtual platform). Also, the chair will host an international conference each year of the implementation period, offering the opportunity to disseminate and to improve the results of the research activities in the project.
