The project aims to develop a new study module on EU policies towards Russia and post-Soviet states. The module includes:- two new courses (“Regionalism and Integration in a Wider Europe” and “EU-Russia Interactions: Biopolitical Perspectives”);- two already existing courses that will be substantially revised and updated (“EU-Russia Relations”, “From Ideas to Reality: Europe and Russia”);- two courses that include a significant amount of material on EU-related topics (“Globalization” and “Foreign Policy Analysis”); - three annual week-long summer schools for Ukrainian students on a variety of EU-related topics, which continues the tradition started in 2014 when the University of Tartu hosted the first school of this kind (see: http://ceurus.ut.ee/summer-school/call-fro-applications/); - three annual week-long winter schools on the basis of “Escapes from Modernity” series of schools, a joint project of the University of Tartu and the Higher School of Economics, Moscow (for more details, see: http://escapes.hse.ru/pm_place);- three annual border study visits to Narva.
