Rechercher des projets européens

JA:hr für Europa im OFT Rabet
Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Romane Hay from France will be European volunteer in a local and international open meeting point for children and youth of the City of Leipzig (OFT Rabet) in Germany for 12 months. The open meeting point is highly frequented by young people with migrant background living under difficult social and economic conditions. After a time of "familiarization", the volunteers will plan, realise and reflect upon afternoon offerings as well as weekly leisure activities (under the guidance of the employees). She will be involved in activities over several days and create an own project and thus increasingly assume responsibility. Once or twice a year the OFT Rabet implements also multilateral youth exchanges, which will be supported by the volunteer. Mrs Hay stimulates in her activities both on herself and on the 8-25-year-old visitors an appreciation of cultural diversity and the confrontation with one's own identity. The volunteer will acquire knowledge on the structure and operation of the organisation, methodological and organizational skills, improve German language skills and enhance her communication skills. The project aims for all concerned to obtain new ideas and fresh impetus, to strengthen the inter-cultural cooperation, cultural exchange and the awareness of an European identity, to integrate disadvantaged people, especially young people, and to strengthen the social commitment.
