The project under the program Lifelong learning, Erasmus+, KA1, will be initiated by: initiating institution Professional High School of Tourism ?Aleko Konstantinov?- Pleven, Bulgaria and host institution ?ZZURA, Societa Cooperativa Sociale, Spoleto, Italy. The participants are teachers in different fields of education, who have professional experience in teaching students aged 14-18, and students in 10th and 11th grade. The students are studying Hotel organization and Guide service. All the participants will fill in an application for participation and cover letter in which they will express their inducements for participating in the project. Beneficiaries (15 students and 20 teachers) will be chosen according to the criteria for participation in the mobility. Provided selection criteria will be discussed and adopted at a meeting of the Pedagogical Council of the school. This project is a subsequent step to partnership between Professional High School of Tourism ?Aleko Konstantinov?- Pleven, Bulgaria and ?ZZURA, Societa Cooperativa Sociale, Spoleto, Italy. The project is addressed at both people teaching new professionals and people in a stage of initial vocational training in the field of tourism. Activities included in the project: 1. Selection of participants 2. Professional and language training 3. Implementation of the mobility 4. Impact assessment of the project 5. Reporting of the results 6. Promulgation of the results 7. Implementation of the results in further work and providing opportunities for realization The necessity for the implementation of the project is explicited by needs of increasing and enriching beneficiaries? key competencies, such as innovation and entrepreneurship, which are part of the established European frameworks. Beneficiaries need to acquire new flexible skills corresponding to the European standards in the field of tourist services; to increase their competencies and qualifications in different setting. These skills will be useful in students? adapting in real working environment and will contribute creative thinking and entrepreneurship upgrading compulsory training. Basic methodology used in the project: - Elicitation and determination of the key competencies that are necessary for personal self- realization, active citizenship and competitiveness of public importance. - Development of competences to a level allowing creation a base for further development and lifelong improvement. - Creating tools to achieve mutual consistency in solving tasks. - Providing opportunities to further quality education and training. Main objectives of the project: 1. Increasing teacher?s competencies and qualifications for their development as specialists in different fields 2. Improving the quality of the vocational education and training through the involvement in different activities and different working environment. 3. Increasing professional competencies through practice in suitable working environment 4. Adaption to new condition of work and residence. 5. Implementation of intercultural dialogue. 6. Improvement of language and communication skills of the students. 7. Improving teachers? skills for work on EU projects. The project will be implemented within 18 months / oktober 2014- may 2016 /. The planned duration of the mobility for the teaching staff is 10 days (06.07.2015 - 15.07.2015) . The planned duration of the mobility for the students is 3 weeks between March - April 2015?. (23.03.2015?. - 11.04.2015?.). The mobility will be implemented in town of Spoleto, Italy, under the program developed jointly with the host organization. The implementation of the project will provide access to innovative approaches and improvement of the competences in vocational education and training. This will be done in EU country which have experience in tourism. Participants will learn innovative approaches in the different directions of the vocational education and training. The project will lead to adaptability, innovation and entrepreneurship in tourist services, will give new challenges and chances to learn new language skills in a professional context and competences in different fields in tourist services. Beneficaries will aquire skills for converting their ideas into real results; skills for using opened opportunities and will realize the need for lifelong learning.
