Our project, a KA1 - Mobility - long term EVS - , entitled "iVolunteering+" will be implemented in Bucharest, Romania where Asociatia D.G.T. will be the Hosting Organization of this Erasmus+ project. During 10 months, 6 young people from Italy, Poland and Spain, interested in the main topic of the project " to teach the youngsters and organisations how to use the internet and the new media, in order to maximize the access (theirs and others) to relevant information, on one hand and on the other hand how to wisely and widely promote volunteering projects, nonformal education, the work of the NGO’s and the Erasmus+ Programme " will try to discover values and ways of action in this sense. The most important Objectives of the “ iVolunteering+ “ project are:1. – Finding concrete ways and new innovative and creative tools that will better promote at international, national and local level, the NGO’s, the nonformal education, volunteering in general and the already available Funding Opportunities, among young people;2. - Creating a Tool that will reach much more people and many more organizations and that will have better and more efficient dissemination of the work and of the projects that the NGO’s are implementing;3. – Increase the number of youngsters that heard about the concept and that they know how to use social media and new media AND raising awareness about the benefits but also about the risks and dangers these technologies can bring;4. – Increase the number of young people that have experience in working in a radio in general, and in particular, in a radio with shows dedicated to youth, volunteering, nonformal education, NGO sector and Erasmus+ Programme;5. - Fine down the differences of know-how between rural areas and urban areas in the field of new and social media.“iVolunteering+“ will last from 4th of July 2016 until 4th of May 2017 and it will consist in 6 EVS volunteers (2 from Italy, 2 from Poland and 2 from Spain) to travel to Bucharest, Romania. They will live in Bucharest, for these almost 10 months and they will work with the children students of “Costin C. Kiritescu” College where they will establish and run activities of a Nonformal Club (twice a week), with the help of the local volunteers, facilitators and teachers. Besides this, another very activity is that they will take part, twice a week, at some of the Radio shows of the Online “X-treme Radio” based in Bucharest, Romania, that will take place at the Radio’s headquarters. The topics of the Radio shows will always tackle topics like volunteering, nonformal education, NGO’s, opportunities for youth, donors and especially: The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The activities will be based on nonformal education and the methods will focus on debates, in/outdoor games, role-playing, individual and group reflections, mentoring, article writing, photo making and editing, video shooting and editing, audio-video podcasts making, presentations, simulations, brainstorming, teamwork, group work (big and small groups) and intercultural sessions and workshops.
