IT tools narzedziami profesjonalnego nauczyciela
Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 31 août 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Incorporation of modern technologies has been a standard in education for more than 10 years now. It allows us teachers to be more effective when it comes to educating young generations, it also makes classes more attractive and easier to learn. Using modern technologies has been practised for years in our school. To raise the standards of teaching we introduced countless technological advances like tools suggested by Moodle or eTwinning Platforms. Being absolutely convinced that digital technologies are indispensable in our occupation, we want to learn more about them as our own development and professionalism have always been overriding objectives. Therefore, we have been cooperating with our partners from Insignare (Portugal), and English Matters (Ireland and Spain). We appreciate constant exchange of experience, discussions, creative actions and professional development which aim at teaching both effectively and in a pleasant atmosphere. Workshops and classes prepared for a group of our teachers will show how the application of modern technologies can help in teaching process and improve exam results taken by our students. Thanks to participation in the project we would also like to improve our language competence and raise cultural awareness as it is beneficial to experience a new culture, do sightseeing, taste traditional dishes, get to know folklore and traditions and learn tolerance for differences. It is essential for us, Europeans to know cultural diversity and open for others. Rational use of all technological resources, improving our workshop, looking for new inspirations for interesting classes gaining new competence and qualifications, breaking mental, cultural and language barriers and fighting with burnout syndrome are the main objectives of our participation in the project. While taking part in the workshops, we would not like to concentrate on technology itself but on the effects of using information and communication technologies, therefore we would like to include teachers of all subjects to benefit from the project and share their knowledge with those who were unable to take part. Our headmaster will also participate in the project as it is essential for him to get to know educational systems in Spain and Portugal and project methods. His task will be supporting improvement of teaching methods at schools around Zabrze, feedback and helping with constructing new projects and their proper management. Our group of teachers is planning to visit Spain and Portugal during winter and summer breaks so that the absence of a bigger group of teachers will not disturb teaching process.
