The project ‘Search Expert Guidance on the Design and Comparison of Educational Competencies with European Standards II’ is the continuation and improvement of the same name active project aimed for the students’ mobility and carrying out practical work classes (PWC), which is a mandatory part of the mainstream education. The project encourages and helps students prepare for the challenges of job hunting or help them continue their education in the field of profession. This way, they learn the real methodology and teamwork. The two key objectives are upgrading the key competences and skills of students as well as increasing the flexibility and employment prospects of young creative job hunters. For successful performance in the common European labour market it requires more than just good teaching, therefore gaining experiences abroad is important. Furthermore, we want the project to share the best practices, compare them with each other and seek other ways of teaching to supplement the existing curriculum. Our school is faced with the challenge of how to combine creativity, modern technology and educational content in a way that will provide quality teaching and allow students to obtain the relevant competences to perform in a common European the labour market at the same time. A lot of students at our school have little or no chance at all to get to know a foreign work environment, culture and communication in a foreign language with native speakers because they come from a socially weak background. The aim is not only to consolidate the skills to communicate in a foreign language, but we also want to enable students to learn about other cultures, the European culture heritage, the wider European areas, thus contributing to the intercultural dialogue. We want to strengthen the cooperation among our educational organization with our social partners and their future employers. We are going to deploy 70 male and female students in all three programs: hairdressers, media technicians and designers on the mobility. The mobility is expected to be carried out in two periods: the first period in the academic year 2015/16 and the second during the period of the academic year 2016/17. Half of the students of each programme is going to participate in each of the periods. Before leaving psychological, cultural and orientation preparation for students is going to be performed, to facilitate the integration of mobility project. During the mobility, the companions and mentors are going to monitor the course of practice and care to meet the evidence of the practice (logs, ECVET forms). After completing the practice, the partner organization is going to hand out Europass Mobility and Certificate of the Practice, which is going to enable them to participate in the common European labour market. Students are going to be accompanied by a teacher companion, whose role will be mainly in monitoring the implementation of the program of work practices and providing any assistance to the students. The project aims to improve the skills of students and their knowledge and skills in the professional field. We expect them to transfer their experience and motivation to other students. A large effect is also expected in learning about new designing approaches, different methods of work and organization. Both students and accompanying teachers are going to be able to compare their practice at home and abroad. With the results we want to modernize current curricula and approaches to teaching creative professions with the support and cooperation of local businesses. In addition to the posts on online social networks, we encourage students to photo and video documentation and preparation of practical tasks, which are going to serve in the promotion of school at public events. Actively, we are going to involve employers in the design and any other potentials additions to the open curriculum.
