The whole needs of the children between 12 and 18 who stay in the orphanages in Turkey in terms of care and protection are provided by the government of Republic of Turkey. Teenagers go on their formal education through these opportunities. When they finish the age of 18 their connection to the orphanage is cut and so they have to live on their own. The teenagers who reach the full age have the right of employment within the government as required by the law numbered 3413.This right affects the planning of future lives of these teenagers in a negative way. Because they have the right to become a public officer, they never tend to head towards other groups of occupation, try to pass the university exams and especially know the occupations The project of IGM aims to shape the futures of the teenagers who stay in the orphanages and go on their formal educations enabling them to become self-aware. We plan to organize the seminars of job introduction in three different orphanages ( Kahraman Maraş - Balıkesir - Samsun ) including the university students and various work groups in the period of three months. In our first activity, we plan to visit Malaga (Spain) after completing the job introduction in the orphanage that we will go. In this activity we consider to go over two more orphanages with embodying the lacks and our abroad system.Our purpose is to enable the teenagers to head forwards the other groups of occupation and integrate the system used abroad to the orphanages in our country. Moreover, The Ministry of Family and Social Politics, The University of Hacettepe and Gazi University will provide contribution to this project.
