Our aspiration in the implementation of the Project is: • To help individuals in the choice of profession which is suitable with their interests and skills, by taking the demographic structure, the geography and the economic situation of the region in advanced process into account and to help making right decisions and decisions that can lead them sustain their life with prosperity. • Also helping individuals who already have a job to gain job searching skills or experience by practical learning in business atmosphere so that they can be promoted into better positions. • Guiding individuals who have chosen wrong occupations to get vocational training programs in different areas and find a new profession. • Monitoring the labour market at the local level and contacting with the individuals related to the required positions and place them there. • If there is a lack of workforce in the needed profession, identifying individuals suitable for the profession and training them. The aim of the Project: Choice of profession main activity which is that much important for an individual means a lot to the institution that it is aimed for personnel in the institution to have required equipment and competence. For the implementation of career planning, job search skills, counselling services, employment and vocational training services in our province in the level of developed countries business and professional counsellors working in the field of employment and vocational training and the other personnel of our institution must have up to date knowledge about business areas, follow contemporary and scientific approaches closely and sectorial developments on a regular basis. With our project it is aimed, our project participants to transfer new knowledge and competences they will gain from in site technical visits and studies they will experience in England through our project partner Tellus Group to all the personnel in the institution, service points subordinate to the institution and personnel in the other institutions in region and create awareness. Unemployment rate in November 2013 in England was %7,2 which is %2,7 less than Turkey. Meetings and seminars will be held for the realization of this difference and studies and trainings that we will see in place by local employers even partially. Decreasing unemployment rate and creating new ideas to increase employment with the in place study of career planning, job search skills, counselling services, employment and vocational trainings in England, making comparison between the studies in our province and use or creation of newly developed techniques. In addition, making goal-oriented studies and making attempts to inform and guide individuals for the choice of right profession. Also, holding meetings and giving seminars to explain good examples in England to employers to lead them to employ suitable individuals in suitable positions. By enabling participants to know different cultures, they will be given a chance to improve their language. Discuss needs and topics in utter details about Project: Considering that they will provide our project to reach its aims 4 teams of 15 individuals were selected including researchers, experts, job and profession counsellors, data preparation and control operators and statisticians. Education levels of the participants are specified as bachelors and above. Participants are responsible for implementation and transfer of the knowledge and competences they will gain at the end of the project. Activities considered to be performed under the project are divided into 3 stages. *PREPARATION STAGE *PRACTICE STAGE *EXTENSION STAGE EXPECTED CONCLUSIONS: Even if our participants are experts and competent individuals in their occupational fields, improving your professional skills continuously has become a must in today’s globalizing world. Thus, it is required to see and evaluate good examples on business insight in the same profession, operation and how possible problems are solved in place. With the compilation and collection of information and competences gained by our participants and publication of the conclusions in our institution’s web site and “3i” journal which is published every 3 months and by informing colleagues and public we will provide implementation and encouragement of good examples. - Participants will learn how to work in a team spirit by knowing new cultures. -Participants will be more enthusiastic and keen on learning new languages. MULTIPLIER EFFECT: An increase in personnel skills will enable more qualitative counselling and vocational education service in our province. Implementation of good practice examples will enable labour quality, improvement of working conditions, improving the quality of vocational education and modernization and employment.
