IPM-HS - Intergenerational Portfolio Management in Health Services

The project will develop an Intergenerational Portfolio Management as a new method based on assessment and validation of acquired competencies, useful to human resource management of older workers in the health services, addressed to nurses in hospitals. This portfolio will be realised by pilots between training organisations and hospitals. Older nurses (50-60 years old) will use and compose an on-line e-portfolio (available via project website and the hospital intranet system) and will be mentored and supported by younger colleagues. The portfolio will represent a practical learning validation instrument, introducing a new method, as it is a combination of job-related acquired competences validation and branch related general competences validation. It will contribute to increasing the development of qualification and competencies in health services sector.
