IPAZIA: "ImProving lifelong learning devices and didActical modules Zooming Into gender guidance Approaches to students choices "

Within the objectives and the priorities selected within the referring Call for Proposals, the partnership has realized an intervention aiming to the review, upgrading, adaptation (both technological as well as targeted oriented), translation, transfer and dissemination of the final outcomes ofthe selected good practice of “CON-PARI E GENERIO" project, which consisted in the experimentation of guidance and counselling actions in a gender prospective for young students within compulsory education and training.The main objective of the proposal has been pursued through the construction of arepresentative transnational partnership in order to guarantee the adaptation and transfer of the "CON-PARI E GENERIO" project outcomes (History learning module, prototype of guidance and counselling pathway and training for teachers and tutors) into the VET system.The original best practice has developed and produced:- an educational learning module related to history disciplines for secondary high schoolstudents, structured as a prototype of learning pathway in a gender prospective;- a prototype of guidance and counselling pathway for young students in compulsoryeducation and training in order to support their study and labour insertion choices(prototype of vocational guidance and counselling with a gender prospective)- a proposal of training pathway for teachers and tutors of secondary high schools in agender prospective (proposing laboratories for teachers and VET operators, as a model of intervention).In particular the partnership has developed and adapted the content of the original best practice products, focusing the attention on the possibilities to:- transfer the learning module approach (previously created only for History) to other educational learning discipline, - extend the experimentation in other schools, - put in action the training of school teachers and tutors- and to extend the experimentation of the prototype of guidance and counselling pathway for young students in compulsory education and training (young students,male and female, aged 14-18 years) in order to support their study and labour insertion choices.The IPAZIA project has then succeeded in effectively transfer the final adapted products into a significative number of structures which were interested in testing and experimenting “on the field” the best practice.By means of the IPAZIA project activities the partnership had the opportunity:- to offer to young students (male and female) knowledge opportunities to a betterunderstanding of the socio-economical environment in which they have grown up andlive;- to develop in them the concept of “life and training project planning”;- to stimulate their creative potentialities;- to promote the culture of “valorization of differences” as well as the necessity tocooperate for the creation of social environments where men and women may have thesame opportunities, that is to say, to actually promote their EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES.The results of the project consisted, therefore, in the elaboration and realization of a revision of the 3 products containing the methodological guidelines for secondary high school operators in the area of gender and equal opportunities teaching methodologies.The IPAZIA final results and products has offered to teachers, tutors and VET guidance operators methods for structuring training session for the improvement/enhancement of gender and equal opportunities awareness in the group of young students (approx. 14-18 years ofage).
