At our school we make extensive use of web applications in lessons as well as for processing student data. Therefore we have to inspect security and privacy issues regulary and closely. We would like to improve our knowledge and skills in this field in order to better fulfill this task. We assign this task to two qualified teachers. The teachers take part in a one week seminar during which they can profit from the experience from participant from other countries. We prepare ourselves for this seminar by recording the specific needs or our school. After the seminar we compose respective answers and descriptions of procedures as a result. We communicate these results to the management of our school as well as to the staff. For lessons we produce learning material about the topic. In the long term we will promote effective educational and administrative work through secure web applications.
