For our school, the Willy-Brandt-Schule, the program Erasmus plus now offers new ways of international work. Activities are developed in which our new colleagues can be involved. Although this is a very positive development, it also requires new ways of structuring and organising. We therefore wanted to improve intercultural competence and project management skills of our staff. The headmaster of our school got lots of information to be ready to spread the European idea to the staff and to the students as well as they need to be open to integrate the European idea in the classroom. Through the project management skills of the teachers new European projects should be institutionalized. We hope that through this the motivation of all teachers involved will increase in a way that other colleagues feel attracted to also participate in international work. This enthusiasm can then be transferred more easily to our students. In the long term we want to institutionalize international projects into our everyday school life. Through this training we could get contacts in other European countries that could be potential project partners, in order to plan student exchanges, jobshadowings etc.
