The project "Professionalisation and internationalisation of teaching methods - focus Oberstufe NEU" aims at having professionally educated teachers of foreign languages with an intercultural mindset. Advanced students should have skills-based lessons of the highest possible quality and consequently be prepared for the SKRP. The English teacher Manuela Luegmaier, who has gained international experience, is going to attend a two-week teacher training course, "Teaching Advanced Students", in Canterbury, UK. Creative and motivating skills-based teaching methods aimed at advanced learners in particular constitute the main content of the course. Intercultural exchange with teachers from other European countries will take place both during the training as well as in everyday life. Manuela Luegmaier organises her stay with the help of Pilgrims. Expectations of the outcome of the course include the acquirement of new teaching methods, the multiplication of the latter and - in the long term - the application of the concept of Oberstufe NEU in the best possible way.
