The project is a cooperation between two organisations: KINDERVEREINIGUNG Sachsen e.V. (DE) and Eurocultura (IT). The training will take part in the Vicenza region Vicenza from 04th til 10th of October 2015. The participants are Day-care center manager, their deputies and qualified project manager of early childhood education for the Saxon institutions.
The previous regional training opportunities provide little or no opportunity to implement new forms of education and training in a European country. Detailed information, action-oriented training and teaching methods from other regions / countries that allow a qualitative development of regional training opportunities are missing.
The necessary needs of the participants are determined before the training. That guarantees a balanced and complementary program for each participant.
The focus of the training is the implementation of pedagogical practice (best practice), integration, staff assignment, day-care centre management and the organisation and implementation of training and education for parents.
Expected results are a balanced training which is assimilated to the participants requirements. In addition, the participants will recognize the benefit of training especially within the international context. To strengthen and educate the participants regarding the implementation of qualified trainings and the development of concepts within their institutions are the main aims of the project.
Furthermore, the participants will experience that the development, implementation and financing of international trainings and regional cooperation are possible and a transnational enrichment for their organisation.
This project promotes the strategy of European 2020 especially the topics employment and education. Through international training opportunities, participants may present their organisation as an innovative and open-minded institution and use this property for recruiting. This supports the European Union's efforts to integrate 75% of 20- 64 year olds in employment.
In Germany the training of child care workers takes place at specified colleges and as well at universities and academies (Bachelor and other recognized qualifications).
The international training offers the opportunity to get more practically tools to work within a multicultural society.
In addition the organisations will be motivated to absolve more trainings and parts of apprenticeship abroad. Poverty and social exclusion and social immobility are bother reduced when people have the chance to start their pedagogic career at a college without having the “Abitur” (diploma from German secondary school qualifying for university admission or matriculation- comparable to A- level).
