Internationalisering af Trekronerskolen

The background for the presented project is that Trekronerskolen just recently initiated international cooperation projects with students/classes and teachers in other European countries. Trekronerskolen has decided a vision for the international work and cooperation projects with students/classes and teachers from other European countries. Our aim is to be able to work with international projects in all subjects and in all levels of the school - From kindergarten class to year 9 - and that all students at Trekronerskolen during their school life at Trekronerskolen will be involved in at least three international cooperation projects with students/classes within Europe.Trekronerskolen has formulated a strategy to be able to fulfill these goals, and part of this strategy is this Erasmus+ KA1 Learning Mobility application, to attract more teachers to do international work in the classes and to get started on international cooperation projects. The specific goals of this Erasmus+ KA1 Learning Mobility application is to achieve a binding and lasting implementation of the international projects and cooperation the mobility participants gain as an integrated part of Trekronerskolens International curriculum.To achieve this goal and secure anchorage at Trekronerskolen, there is a need for more employees to contribute to the development of these international projects and cooperation and to play an active part of the anchorage process. Trekronerskolens employees need to be up skilled at the areas mentioned beneath.All in all eight employees from Trekronerskolen are to be participants in the mobility activities, ranging from head of school, international coordinator, teachers and pedagogue. The participating employees will be chosen so as many subjects and classes will be presented as possible in the mobility activities. At the same time the employees should be able to participate in the anchorage of international projects and cooperation in Trekronerskolens International curriculum. The eight employees will be chosen to represent the following areas of the school:* Head of school and International coordinator to implement and anchorage the development of the international vision* Early English and German language teaching* EU as topic in social studies* Communication and International cooperation in Math* International cooperation in music/art and* Global citizenship for young learnersAfter the mobility activities the participants are obliged to:Carry through an international project and cooperationShare the achieved knowledge and competences from the mobility activity to relevant colleagues Participate to implement and anchorage the tested international projects and cooperation in Trekronerskolens international curriculumThe long term advantages of this project is that even only eight employees participate in mobility activities, the whole school – both employees and students – will gain several and diverse experiences with international projects and cooperation in several subjects and at several levels in years to come.
