Global security is a field which is becoming not just a business of professionals, but also interest of common people. Many countries have gone through different attacks or threats, which affected people in stressful way. With this project we created a web page, where people could share positive attitudes about keeping peace in the world. Professionals of global security and common people could meet in this webpage and ask each other what they could do to feel safer and able to do something for their safety.During project few specific target groups was gathered together: specialists (political scientists, lecturers of war academies, officials, students, etc.) as well as individuals that were interested in this subject. In every partner country the Competition was organized – learners had to write an article or short essay on “Global Peace” topic. Competent jury (consisting of specialists of political science, experts from governmental and related institutions) decided which essays are the best. Best essays were presented in special E-journal and putted in the webpage of the project. Main criteria for such selection was to gather a group that would represent different segments of society. In this way there was created diverse attitude to the subject. In the end of the project Final Event was organized. During this event results of the project were presented, global peace keeping ideas were announced. Winners of the Competition, representatives from government, local NGOs, other organizations made an announcements too.Project established favourable environment for open dialogue about global peace among different groups of adults: global security professionals could share their experience which made positive influence on discrimination processes; other people had a possibility to educate themselves, expand their knowledge and communication circle.Partners decided to continue working with this topic.
