International MA Course "Ensuring of product life cycle technological processes efficiency" at Russian Universities

The RF faces an increasing demand for highly skilled specialists in the sphere of Engineering and Engineering Trades. The best way to satisfy this demand is by development and introduction of specialized master programs, based on the best European practice including up to date European standards, modern educational technologies and high-tech equipment in Russian universities.Modern pace of industrial technological development leads to the necessity of widening universities’ activities in the sphere of continuous professional education. On the second year of the project 2 APE programs for students and specialists of enterprises in the field of CAD/CAM technologies will be developed and introduced in Russian partner universities.The quality of training is supported by creation of integrated educational space for partner universities. Elaboration of unified module MA course program and harmonization of the curriculum with programs of European partners will ensure students’ mobility as well as wide use of the developed teaching materials in the related bachelors’ and masters’ programs in Russian partner universities. 64 students from 4 partner universities will enter MA course during the 2nd and the 3rd years of the project realization. The total number of students benefitting from the Project will include up to 450 persons. The "train the trainer" course for the Russian partner universities’ teachers is aimed at improvement of their professional competences in order to develop improved teaching material for 12 MA course disciplines. Four of these disciplines will be taught in English. Introduction of video conferences’ technology and concluding agreements on cooperation with enterprises will provide involvement of the leading specialists from enterprises in the educational process as well as utilization of the students’ project activity in small autonomous groups according to the enterprises’ orders.
