Future educators are asked today to take multicultural society and their special needs into view and account. Interculturalism, diversity and inclusion are hereby cross-sectoral responsibilities of educators and they take a fundamental role by implementing successful interculturalism and inclusion.To accomplish the sociopolitical requirements for future educators the Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik (FSP2) provides different mobility projects for their students and teachers to give them the opportunity to develop their skills accordingly.The mobility projects of the FSP2 are addressed to students who have the aptitude for the vocational training for educator and who have a serious interest in developing a cross-cultural expertise. Teachers who are involved in the profile class "Inter Class" or teach interculturalism, diversity and inclusion as a priority, may also participate in the mobility projects.Students who opt for the profile class "Inter Class", will complete learning and working stays of different lengths in European countries as part of the training. Students of the regular training have the opportunity to take part in a 14-day mobility projekt to expand their intercultural skills. By supervising students abroad, teachers get to know the educational concepts and practices of other European countries.Before the students of the „Inter Class“ start their five-month placement in educational institutions of European countries, they take part in a three-week preliminary stay in Sweden. In the period from 28.09.-10.15.2017, the students take their first experience abroad and get to know the high quality standards of the educational work in Sweden. The particular benefit of this mobility is the exemplary conduct, with intensive preparation and follow phases. The students can refer to his mobility in their five-month placement. They can orient themself by the organisational and systematic struktur. The participants are supported by a teacher of the FSP2 and supervisors of the cooperation partner.After the preliminary stay in Sweden the students are taking up their five-month placement in European countries in February 2017. The preparation and evaluation, as well as the individual support of the participant will be realised by teachers of FSP2.Interested students of the regular training can take part in the fourteen-day mobility project "The Children's City" in June 2016. They are expanding their intercultural competence by professional discourses on the topic 'Movement Pedagogy " and by participating and accompanying a „Locomotion construction site“ für Children in Romania.The mobilities for teachers will be in July 2016 and May 2017. 10 teachers are supervising the students during their internships abroad . The contents of the working visits are coordinated with the mobility team, the teachers and the project partners. The teachers will prepare their mobility professionally and they will be advised and supported by the mobility team .As a learning institution we aspire individual, targeted and methodical preparation, implementation and evaluation for all our mobility projekts. The mobility project coordinator of the FSP2 is in constant contact with the project partners to coordinate the internships and intercultural encounters.The focus of the mobility projects is the extension of the personal, social and professional competences of the participants. This is achieved by the experience of living abroad. Everyday the participants are challenged on the social, professional, intercultural and language level. The experience contributes significantly to the professionalisation and personal development of the participants. The experience obtained during the period abroad, form the base for new impulses in the educational practice in Germany and support the transfer of reform and innovative concepts. In addition, the mobilities contribute to a large extent to eliminate prejudice and discrimination and promote understanding of diversity in practice.The aim of the FSP2 is a continuous development of the projects. Regular evaluations of all particapant and partner institutions as well as the exchanges with other mobility agencies in Hamburg contribute to the quality assurance and enhancement of the projects. The school community has also a great interest in the experience and lessons learned of the FSP2 mobility projekts.The mobilities that have already been carried out have contributed to the intercultural opening of FSP2. The fokus of the development is further integration of mobility projects in the regular training and the expansion of access opportunities for more students. The internationalisation of the FSP2 is supported by the school's mission both inside and outside.
