Interkulturalität, den anderen verstehen
Date du début: 9 août 2016, Date de fin: 8 août 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Interculturality-Understanding each other"Nowadays intercultural learning in the context of migration is becoming more and more important. Comparing different cultures, reinforcing solidarity within Europe, extending the Unesco-philosophy even further; these would be appropriate means to reduce prejudices and act against the mechanisms of social exclusion.Conjugations in the respective language: My country Your identity His/her nationality My habits His/her customs Your peculiarities Your knowledge Our culturesAt first, the given culture's peculiarities, things in common and things separating will be analysed and coordinated with the further project. Problematic issues of the respective cultures will be elaborated and dealt with in specific projects. Reducing prejudices and stereotypes in order to go from rejection to enthusing about the given culture, would be a great progress. The project "Interculturality-Understanding each other"can be understood as an important step towards: intercultural competence intercultural learning and intercultural educationwhich should be given more attention to as part of the school development profile. The assumption that "problems can be solved more easily when people of contrary disciplines work together" will be realised by collaborating with colleagues with different subjects. Furthermore, the know-how of how to obtain a socially effective discourse regarding these issues, will be elaborated.By conducting this project, we expect improvements in problematic aspects such as--decrease of drop-outs, especially among children with migrant backgrounds--integration of migrants--individual development of students to enhance creativity--internationalisation of teaching on an EU-wide basisIn addition --improving communication and cooperation between different cultures and children of different cultures--giving support to facilitate a change in the attitude in order to tolerate and accept others--improving and guiding contact between children of different social, ethnic and religious origins towards a more constructive cooperation by maintaining the positive attitude mentioned above. The acquisition of "intercultural competence" of teachers will lead to improvements in methodology and alleviate problems in dealing with the foreign.
