Intergenerational learning and transfer of transversal skills related to entrepreneurial management.

The project aims at fostering the innovation and dissemination in the area ofintergenerational learning, identifying effective models on how to make use of thepotential of seniors citizens (senior entrepreneurs and business managers), bycontributing to the learning of others (new entrepreneurs that are planning to start up acompany or take over an existing one or have done some recently). The projectpartnership ha identified a lack of sufficient innovative schemes to valorise the knowhowand experience of seniors, while there is a common agreement of the need offostering entrepreneurship. The methodology employed will cover all the necessary steps to arrive to useful andsustainable products and results. The members of the partnership will analyse the corecompetences of senior entrepreneurs and business managers, identify their learningneeds in order to update their skills and be able to transfer them to new entrepreneursand thus reconvert from managers or entrepreneurs to mentor, and provide them withtraining covering these identify needs. A need analysis of the new entrepreneurs willalso be carried out as to select the competences to be transferred. Once the seniorshave been trained in mentoring schemes, there will be a testing phase, during whichthey will transfer their know-how to new entrepreneurs and test the developed tools.Project partners will implement the quality control plan and dissemination activities inorder to guarantee both the quality of the products and their maximum availability andadaptability for the target groups, which form training entities promotingentrepreneurships to senior and junior entrepreneurs and business managers.
