Casa da Horta, Associação Cultural, aims to be the coordinating association of the project, as well as sending organisation together with Bunkr (from Czech Republic), both will send volunteers to México City, where they will be host by Vimex.Intercultural Solidarity is a EVS group project that will contain 11 volunteers to México, doing 7 different activities. Activites dates varies 1 September 2012 to 1st November 2013, with durations from 6 to 12 months. The main topics of activites will be Youth Leisure, Children, Education through sport, outdoor activities and Environment.(Before the EVS activities and after, volunteers wills participate in common meeting (Pre-departure and Evaluation) leaded by respective national agencies. After reaching hosting country each volunteer will also participate in On-arrival Training and Mid-term Training, leaded by experts.)Volunteers will be working in different organizations in Mexico. They will support the institutions who work with children of the street, teach English, teach Yoga, teach Sports and will take part in environmental projects. All volunteers wil be part of the organization, preparing activities according to his/her abilities, too. We wish to use the ideas of volunteers to show Mexican people European culture, new activities/workshops, sports and develop the volunteer´s skills.Being in the long term projects volunteers volunteers will have possibility to get to know Mexican culture, history, music, mexican food ect. It will be also time to improve their Spanish and develop their personality coping the life in another country, in different continent.
