Nameni projekta so bili:
- utrditi mobilnosti mladih preko programa EVS v drugi državi,
- razviti veščine mladine in otrok.

Project summary in English:
The objectives of project were:
• To encourage intercultural dialogue between youth from Europe and Middle East;
• To develop cooperation between organizations from Middle East and Europe;
• To enhance youth mobility by providing European Voluntary Service in another country;
• To develop youth and children soft skills.
The main tasks for volunteers in Jordan were teaching English for children in Palestinian refugee camp and develop new activities.
The methodology used was interactive and participatory since the volunteers were stimulated to work and implement their activities in a self initiative, creative and participatory way.
During the prooject they were writing articles and blogs, collecting photo materials, were included in prepration of the preparation of projects and linking both organizations. Thanks to some EVS volunters from Slovenia, Zavod Voluntariat partcipated as partner in three youth mobilties together with host organization WE Centre (2 youth exchanges and one training of trainers), funded by Europmed. Ten young people from Slovenia were sent to these projects in Jordan last year.
The biggest impact from project were the volunteers themelves. They have gained not only new knowledge and new skills, but also had significant experience in living abroad, getting to know new people and changing their understanding of different cultures. Upon return, some of these volunteers found new career opportunities, opportunities for additional non-formal trainings, and all of them gained a lot of soft skills. All of them stayed active in their local communities, they keep transferring their knowledge to other working environments and develop own initiatives.
