For several years now, in France youth unemployment is increasing. The main reason, very often invoked face to this fact is the lack of experience of young people that are facing a more experienced competition in the labor market. The European Voluntary Service is a program that allows young people to equip themselves with a broad range of skills while benefiting from the added value that mobility can bring in to the professional career. The project we wish to implement is based on several points:- The hosting organizations are located in rural areas to encourage total immersion of the youngster in the host country.- The activities proposed by each association share common objectives: promoting volunteerism and therefore the European program Erasmus +, the development of learning methods based on non-formal education.- The mobility is organized for a group (2 or 4 people). This bias will allow us to include both young people with fewer opportunities (in situation of school dropout for example) and young graduates whose professional experience (internship for example) is not recognized by the recruiters. This system allows us to establish various youth groups where mutual aid and solidarity will be essential. During the mobility they can sustain and help each other. We chose to work with partners turned to the revitalization of rural areas so that young people can be immersed in a new framework, that is more conducive for the exchanges and dialogue. The integration of the youngsters in associations that aim to promote the active participation of young people in the society, will offer them the opportunity to develop a panel of divers skills (multilingualism, openness, autonomy). The objective of this project is that the youngster “grows up” after this personal and professional experience with greater self-confidence and self esteem.
