The project EXCHANGE IN A RURAL AREA will take place in Villada , municipality of Palencia, Spain , part of the traditional region of Tierra de Campos, traditionally dedicated to agriculture and today the service sector and small industries. Surge initiative of the Department of Youth and Culture of the City of Villada , to promote the values ​​of coexistence , tolerance, solidarity , participation and intercultural learning. This project wants to provoke an exchange in our town, A reciprocity and therefore a clash between young people from other countries and cultures with the youth of our people , as with the group of significant higher in Villada and present in the residence , and ultimately with the people in general , with which our young Europeans will live , participating in the regular municipal programming in the socio- cultural sphere , producing a rich exchange . We also want to bring young people villadinos , and neighboring towns , the possibilities Erasmus + offers . The project will involve three volunteers from different countries with a similar age (24-25 years) and knowledge of Spanish culture and language elements that we considered important. The duration is 5 months , from July to November 2014. Our volunteers participate in related and targeted activities in the following areas : Social : collaborating Seniors Residence and Nursery , with less than 0-3 years. Cultural in related civil , religious and ethnographic heritage ( Camino de Santiago , festivals energizing Summer School , Library - Telecentre and the sociocultural building where the headquarters of the local associations and training activities are located in year) and youth , youth and children in the playroom , extracurricular activities , sports and dynamic summer in the pool The program is flexible and dynamic meaning that the activities may vary depending on events and volunteers working in different sectors.
