Integrated technical training and communication activities for the Slovenian operators of the large distribution, the restaurant and agricultural sectors, with regard to fruit-and-vegetable quality production from the Venetian province (Opveslo)

The project focuses on communication and promotional activities, aimed at divulging information about the typical and organic Venetian products in the Slovenian area involved in the project. This initiative envisages the organization of promotional events in the Venetian province, through the support provided by local companies which manufacture typical quality and organic produce. In order to foster communication on the two sides of the border, a bilateral Venetian-Slovenian press-office is going to be set up, to disseminate information about the project. In the area of Quarto dAltino, the nevralgic centre of the economic activities in the province of Venice, technical seminars in the fields of agronomy, commerce, cuisine and tourism will be organized. Hence the improvement and consolidation of the agreements and exchange activities between Italian and Slovenian operators, to develop the mutual penetration between these two areas, spreading knowledge and giving rise to a Slovenian demand for organic produce and typical products from the Venetian province. In Slovenia therefore the consumption level of the products from the Venetian province, that can be identified with specific quality (typical, organic, etc.) certifications, can be increased by improving and intensifying exchanges between Slovenian and Italian operators, creating concrete opportunities of exchange and use of mutual structures and commercial equipment.
