GUIDEPORT's general aim is to render the involved ports more appealing to passengers and logistic companies, increasing their competitiveness as well as offer a better quality of life for the residents of urban areas near ports. In this framework, the specific objectives of the project comprise:• Providing improved information and guidance.• Improving access and increasing security for passengers and freight vehicles.• Development of a portal and an integrated platform for real-time services at port areas.• Reducing of incidents, loss or damage and delays.• Improving storage conditions and increasing service effectiveness.
