The Project La Garrotxa High School VET TO EUROPE consists into two parts or projects:ACTIVITY A. Mobility of students in their period of internship:This activity is in the context of internship of Gardening and Flower VET students, agriculture and livestock and electromechanic maintenance, specifically the realization of the module (or one part of it) in one placement school defined in the curriculum. The number of the participants will be 11 and the profile is the VET student with ESO studies and/or test to achieve the VET studies for students between 17 and 29.The main activity will be the realization of the module of internship that has a detailed plan of activities and a specific area. When it comes to the methodology used, it will be the one in the module defined by the Department of Education of La Generalitat de Catalunya: contact with a company, plan of activities and dates of the internship, signature of the agreement, control by the tutor of the high school and final evaluation together with the tutor in the company. The expected results in this project are the improvement of the linguistic skills of the participants, the chance to enlarge the curriculum with a mobility experience which is always valued nowadays at work.The impact on the participants is to complete their internship abroad in addition to improve their curriculum. When we refer to the participant organizations the impact is positive at a local and regional area; the organization is a fact when it comes to improve the quality of its educative offer and to catch future students and improve their image. For the local organization, it allows it to know what it is offered in other countries. The possible benefits are the increase of chances to get a job in addition to strength the european cooperation in the professional studies.ACTIVITY B. Mobility of staff for job-shadowing or internship: these activities improve the linguistic skills and professional competences for VET and higher education studies. The number of participants are 2 and their profile is agriculture and gardening teachers. The main activity will be the observation of new methodologies. When it comes to expected results, apart from the improvement in the English language, it will be an improvement in the quality of teaching in these modules, the update and renewal of knowledge and techniques, the fluency in the relationship establish among teachers and schools from different countries to work in an international network. In addition, there will be an increase in the number of didactic units not linguistic where the CLIL methodology is used. The impact will be to improve the quality of the educative offer in the school and at the same time, companies around which will have the chance to get future international students. In the same way, it is possible to transmit the knowledge to the rest of the teachers of the school through department meetings. There could be an increase in the number of enrolled students in the future as well as a prestige of our school as a referent to the european cooperation.
