The project will be implemented by Consortium "Gateway to the World" and BRAGAMOB - qualified company for conducting mobilities in Portugal and project partner. The implementation of the project will enable 84 students from vocational agricultural schools - Professional School of Agriculture, Nova Zagora, Agricultural vocational school "Kliment Ark. Timiriazev ", Sandanski, Professional School of Agriculture "Hristo Botev", Yambol, and members of the consortium to undergo practical training in a country with traditions in agriculture - Portugal.The mobility will take place in a real working environment for two weeks. The participants will practice the specialties "Rural Tourism", "Mechanization of agriculture", "Winemaking & Viticulture" and "Agricultural ecology".In response to the identified problems and needs the project has the following objectives:1) Enhancing the knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies of students acquired in school, through: utilization of modern technologies and work with new mechanization in agriculture; implementation of new forms and acquiring a range of practical skills in rural tourism; studying the Portuguese experience in the relatively new school specialty agricultural ecology; studying of contemporary practices in winemaking & viticulture – a perspective branch for Bulgaria with tendencies for greater development in the coming years.2) Improving the capacity of agricultural schools in the consortium by strengthening the established international partnership, transferring good practices in vocational training, assessment and recognition of the learning outcomes by the Portuguese partner, the diversification of the curriculum practices for students.As an additional effect the project will have an impact on improving the intercultural and social competences of the students, their motivation for learning and professional development and their competitiveness in the labor market.The methodology of training is associated with the completion of tasks in a real working environment with instruction from mentors in each of the partner`s bases for practice with monitoring of the implementation and evaluation.As a result of the practice, the participants will become more competitive on the labor market, acquiring practical skills to work with modern equipment, automated systems and machinery; to start a successful business in the field of rural tourism; for eco-monitoring and control of environmental protection; for creating new vines and working with machines and equipment in winemaking.On an institutional level, the project will create a quality learning environment that will contribute to the transfer of good practices in the training and exchange of experience between the partnering organizations.In a regional and national context, the project will contribute to the improvement of the relevance of vocational education and training of the students leaving school and entering the labor market to the needs of the European labor market and the high requirements of employers.The training will be validated by issuing a Europass mobility certificate and a certificate from BRAGAMOB.
