The aim of the project was to develop a virtual learning environment with the content for the subject knitting and related issues (warp knitting, weft knitting, hosiery, seamless fashion) and its implementation and deployment in the vocational education and training as well as at colleges and universities. Furthermore, curricula and appropriate concepts regarding methodology and didactics of e-learning have been elaborated. A network consisting of experts and trainers has been set-up to support the learning process and progress. At present is consists of participants from 6 European countries. The target group of the project are trainees, students, trainer, lecturer, and consultants. The content is also relevant for people who re-entry in the training in the field of textile industry.
