Innovation-based organic farming through user-friendly training tools

AGROTRAIN project is very important with respect to some principles that are the roots from which organic agriculture grows and develops, e.g. health, ecology, fairness, care, etc. They express the contribution that organic agriculture can make to the world, and a vision to improve all agriculture in a global context. They apply to agriculture in the broadest sense, including the way people tend plant protection, soils, water, plants and animals in order to produce, prepare and distribute food and other goods. They concern the way people interact with living landscapes, relate to one another and shape the legacy of future generations. The main focus of the project is on enhancing the quality and performance of VET systems, improving information and guidance systems and strengthening the European dimension in organic agriculture management. Since the project will promote creativity and innovation in the topic it will improve the employment and people’s capacity resulting in rapidly changing management quality in organic agriculture sector. It should be noted that increased attention will be given to systematic dissemination and exploitation of results at project to achieve the specific objective. The project will support participants in training and further training activities in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development. AGROTRAIN includes 6 partners from 5 European countries; Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Spain and Turkey. The project products will be based on research methodolohy, reporting, collection of data, creation of training, analyzing, validation of the results and dissemination of the results. The target groups will be VET institutes, universities, adult education centers, professional and farmer associations, public body advisors, and cooperatives. Through AGROTRAIN project, it will be given the latest methods and improvements in organic agriculture sector to ease their work in this sector and to have well skilled professional producers. This will be achieved through vocational training modules which will be developed in our project.
