InLens
Date du début: 17 juin 2014, Date de fin: 16 oct. 2014 PROJET  TERMINÉ

“InLens” project has aim in gathering 25 young people from 4 different countries of European Union (Croatia, Poland, Romania, Spain). Partners for the project were chosen by economic and social percentage development of each country. Besides that, every organization has different mission and focus on various ideas that’s why our project has a huge chance to become extraordinary and outstanding. While making plans about "InLens" we wanted to focus on current problems which affects thousands of youth in Europe. As we want to reach out to many environments, we decided to make it all in photographies. We strongly believe that thanks to photography, presenting these difficulties will get over-nationalities’ dimension. We chose this subject, because nowadays European Union faces a lot of issues that stop its development. Despite this struggle and thanks to regular dialogue as well as naming these difficulties, EU makes an effort to get out of problems by finding original solutions. Currents problems are Carbon Dioxide Emission, regular migrations of Europeans to find better work and living conditions , huge unemployment rate among youth, lack of tolerance towards different nationalities. To eliminate those matters it is important to carry on and looking for new ideas among youth which are just about to enter the job market and enter full individual life. A lot of things depend on their engagement and knowledge of problems’ range. We are convinced that it is possible due to talks and new media by finding solutions on multicultural level. Involvement of Polish young people leaded us to work out an independent strategy as photography which will absolutely help us in “promoting” issues of European Union. Through artistic and journalism photography, participants could feel the force of electronic devices as cameras which may direct them to many innovative ideas. The project will consist of theoretical and practical part. At the beginning we would like to introduce to participants possibilities of working with photo camera. We will work out on different methods while working on lightning, double expositions, velocity of shutter. Practically we will work outside with local society and environment. During workshops participants “armed” with photography equipment will try to find proper form of presenting chosen problems. We would like to create a space where every participant could find himself/herself and involve into realization. That’s why before letting them go and find ideas, we will activate discussion on European Union’s problems. The main aim of the project is to show young society problems which concern them now or will in the nearest future and: - Encourage youth to use photography as a tool to develop creative and original work - Encourage youth to work on creativity - Promoting photography as a functional tool in social cooperation - Photography as a medium which let us acquire new possibilities for individual progress - Broading acquaitance of current difficulties of European Union - Looking for innovative solutions by youth We will activate the youth by: - Workshops on problems and difficulties of European Union, showing proposed solutions - Working on basics functions and understanding of basics in graphics programmes - Building work groups within which they will be thinking about EU problems, discussing, working out on methods in showing EU’s problems with photography - Games in groups, integrative evenings At the end of the project we will organize a photo exhibition and create a photo album with description of our project in these 4 countries (Croatia, Poland, Romania, Spain). Due to after-project actions as organizing the exhibition and creating the albums, all partners would make use out of it in their future work while realizing other projects. Additionally we will have a chance to pass gained competences much further, let’s say to our target groups who couldn’t participate into the project. We will treat it as a domino which will fluently help in sharing obtained abilities and experiences.
