Under the one-year cooperation project, it is important to have a closer look at the "Inclusive education and early childhood education in kindergarten area". Therefore professionals from kindergarten to the German School of Athens should get the chance to practice shadow teaching in an inclusive early childhood education centre in Thüringen for their professionally and intercultural development. Six educators with different additional qualifications are given the opportunity getting to know the child day care essence of another country to exchange views on educational content and to develop new perspectives. During the week-long stay participants will gather valuable experience and suggestions, which they can use for their own work practice. Education-related topics will be discussed and reflected through interviews, observation and active participation in the partner institution. Of particular interest here are the "inclusive education" and "nature and forest educational activities". The own experience of "bilingual education" will be part of the project. In order to have a sustainable impact, suggestions will be included in the educational conception. In addition, the participants will share their experiences and impressions with their colleagues, so that the benefit for those who do not participate in the exchange will be given. It is also important to establish personal contacts and to encourage further joint projects. Since the use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) are essential for the processes of knowledge building, knowledge sharing and knowledge use it will be encouraged within this context. The project also aims it to strengthen the European dimension in education and to contribute to building relationships, which is essential for the convergence and the success of the European area of knowledge.
