Inklusion - Gemeinsamer Unterricht mit SchülerInnen mit unterschiedlichem (sonderpädagogischen) Förderbedarf
Date du début: 11 oct. 2014, Date de fin: 10 oct. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our school looks back on more than 30 years of experience with inclusive teaching concerning blind or visually impaired students. Students with other disabilities have been integrated throughout the last years. The profile of our students has become more and more heterogenous. Our school has applied for the title of "Schwerpunktschule für den Bereich Sehen" (school with focus on impaired vision), and the school administration is part of a team in Berlin, occupied with establishing valid criteria for this kind of schools. There are only a few grammar schools in Germany working in this field of education. Internal and external evaluation have brought about an increasing need of further education, apart from the positive results of turning 'integration' into 'inclusion'. Until now the school has used its own ressources and those of the cooperating partners to organize further education for the staff. School administration and staff see an increasing need of experience with successful models of coping with heterogenity in European neighbouring countries. For this reason we would like to apply for a grant enabling us to attend seminars and courses and to visit professional institutions in Finnland, Norway, Denmark. Spain (Andalusia) and Great Britain (3 to 5 members of staff in each country) for the period of one year as a first step. We want to make experiences with best practices concerning the handling of heterogenity and to get to know new partners establshing a network for job shadowing as a second step. We are aiming at reflecting on and enlarging our competencies and attitudes towards didactical methods, development of the school curriculum (inclusive supportive concepts), and school development focussed on impaired vision ("Schwerpunktschule"). The utility of our efforts wil be measured by the development of our internal school curriculum, the altered school structures, and the educational success proved by school leaving qualifications. Procedure of selecting staff for further education measures: the participants will be selected by an internal scheme of application and interviews. Being prepared to share the acquired knowledge with other colleagues is a crucial criterion for participation. The school will support the participants in organizing their travels and the institutional partners of further education will provide seminar schemes and in the long run possibilites for job shadowing. Mutual visits of partners and the exchange of national and international qualified staff are envisaged.
